[nesfa-reading-group] fussing over singular "they"

The last meeting of the reading group is where we got into a series of arguments over pronouns that weren't as many of us were taught in school (lo these many years ago...); I posted the reference to point out that the singular "they" was not just a recent notion.

I went looking for something completely different in the NESFA Standing Rules and found the following annotation:

which means that a majority of the club agreed 45 years ago to restore the long-standing practice.
