I will not be there due to a conflict. I read Titanium Noir a couple of months ago, and thought it was OK but nothing special; I was willing to swallow this version of supermen for the sake of the story, but we're never told why the leader doesn't have the amnesia that comes with the treatment. There were a lot of standard noir notes — beatings, explosions, and other random violence; tangled {,ex-}relationships; people who see no reason their power should be limited; overheated sex — but nothing particularly new. I also found the many terse names took a while to keep track of. Rating 9; I don't know whether I'll read this author's next effort in this area.
