I agree it’s better to not display the Zoom link publicly on the Meetup page. We have not had a problem with bad actors but, if we did, if we could just not give them the link if they signed up.
If people are at the group, we usually ask them if they want to be on the NESFA email list.
If they do, they are on it. If they do not want to be on that list, they can always monitor Meetup for the next session. and Liz can send a communication via meetup organizer tools, to attendees shortly before the actual session begins
If Liz cannot do that some week, she should let Richard and me know. I think either of us could send the link,
I think Rick was concerned if there was a way folks who sign up on Meetup get the link. I think the way we are doing things provides the way.

FWIW I think it’s better to not display the zoom link publicly.
If someone is certain to contact Meetup folks prior to the event (which I believe Liz has already confirmed in another, concurrent email ) then we’re good.
What do others think?

Liz or I will add the Zoom link to the Meetup webpage. Someone has to tell us what the zoom link is. Only Liz can create a new Meetup event for our group. But she usually gives me edit access to each event so I could fuss with it if needed
