Would someone please let me know that that the reading group list got
this? There wasn't any response to my questions sent to the same
email address a week ago (I was waiting for a response before I made
my three choices) so I wasn't even sure my email was received.
-------------------------

Tracy's recommendations for the September book read:
Elizabeth Moon, Remnant Population
Matt Haig, The Humans
Ursula Le Guin, City of Illusions (also in Worlds of Exile and Illusion)

I don't know why that Le Guin novel isn't better known. I remember
when I read all her novels that had been published by about 1980,
A Wizard of Earthsea and City of Illusions were my favorite (I didn't
fully appreciate Left Hand of Darkness until recently.) I reread City
of Illusions this week and was not disappointed. And it was very
early Le Guin.

Note: It's not as easy to find editions of it under its own title. It's
easier to find in the anthology of three Hainish novels by Le Guin
called Worlds of Exile and Illusion. (It's also included in a lesser
known edition called Three Hainish Novels). The book itself is only
210 pages.
