Hello Everybody;

I think Zelazny would always be good. I am not familiar with the other authors. Therefore; I vote number 2).

Subject: [nesfa-reading-group] Book choices for October 2017

Howdy folks,

I've reviewed all of the suggestions for October and narrowed it down to the following:

1)Charles Shultz cartoons (involving the Great Pumpkin, and such)

2)Jack of Shadows by Roger Zelazny, and For Want Of A Nail,by Mary Robinette Kowal (Boskone 55 GOH).

3) Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman.

I've included the MR Kowal short story to give people an opportunity to read & discuss her Hugo winning work together, in advance of the convention.

To give people time to make up one's mind, all votes will be tallied by Monday am July 10th, and scheduled directly thereafter.

I honestly can't wait, as I'm looking forward to all of these!

Happy 4th o' July all,

Mike S.
