[nesfa-reading-group] Jack of Shadows

I won’t be there tonight. I’m out of state today.

Jack of Shadows seemed more like a bunch of things than happened than a story. I didn’t like Jack, or many of the other characters.

In ...October we meet the man who was (inter alia) Jack the Ripper; the Jack of Shadows is a prankster (in a half-tech world) who does as he pleases, not someone carrying a burden.

I liked Zelazny 's other book we read about Jack (Night in the Lonesome October.) That was brilliant, so Jack of Shadows was a bit of a letdown for me overall.
